Nainital- Where Lakes Paint The Canvas Of Beauty

I still remember that day when I was going through a storm of life. I had to pick out a college which supports my wandering soul, and helps me make a living of it. While I was wandering and giving entrance tests to crack and explode my brain like a timer bomb, my parents made this amazing decision of taking me to Nainital for a break. And let me tell you, I will never be enough thankful to my parent's for this.

Who wouldn't fall in love with this right?

The view from our hotel was just the classic place where you could weave poetry, or just get lost in some romantic thoughts. Hotel Chevron Fairhavens is an antique in itself. A vintage wood house, surrounded by greens and clouds. Aah! What could be more better! The food is really good. I wouldn't say excellent but it is pretty good to fill your appetite. Try the Dalia though, it will change your life forever. For details on the hotel, click on the link. http://www.chevronhotels.com/fairhavens-nainital.html

The Naini Lake
Nainital can be broken down to, Naini and Taal, the prior I have no clue what it means, the later refers to Lake. Thus the city of lakes as it is called. According to me, the true flavor and magic of Naini Lake can only be seen and felt through a boat ride. I have been to Nainital twice, once by High School and another with family. Our school manager didn't let us boat coz he thought we might drown, but thankfully later I fell in love with the place as I saw Naini Lake on a Boat. If not boating, then you have an amazing mall road adjacent to it, where you get amazing and cheap things to buy. Go for Candles, they are pretty and irresistible to buy. Bags and Bhalle also are worth a consideration. Also if you are religious enough, you have a Temple, a Mosque and a Gurudwara all adjacent and near to each other.

Clouds.. where all breath accumulates of awe
If you have a hobby of looking at the sky like me, then this is the right place for you. During the day, you can gaze at the clouds and at night, the pretty celestial objects like Stars. (If lucky you can spot a UFO, and some Jaadu might appear! :P)

The other places to see are the other lakes, like Bhimtaal, Naukuchiya Taal which is also breath taking.

All the other lakes are just a few kilometres away, for which taxis and buses are available.

How to reach Nainital:
-From Delhi: By Train, the nearest station is Kathgodam, which is 34 kilometres away from Nainital.
-There is no direct ways to go to Nainital a break journey is a must!

But my suggestion would be a good long drive!
